Leasing application Guidelines:

1. 2 forms if picture I.D. are required before signing a lease.

2. Full security deposit must be paid at time of lease signing.

3. Application must be filled out completely.

4. Prospective tenant authorizes DEW Properties to do a complete credit history and criminal history backgorund check.

5. Prospective tenant authorizes DEW Properties to verify previous residency with all prior landlords and to investigate prior tenancy relations.

6. Prospective tenant agrees the Lessor  can cancel this lease within 1 month of signing based upon information received from the background checks.

7. Prospective tenant agrees that payments up to move-in date plus security deposit must be paid before release of any keys for move-in.

8. Prospective tenant agrees that the use of illegal drugs or the possession of drug paraphernalia in or on any DEW Properties managed property is a violation of the lease. Violation of this clause will cause a report to be filed and a copy of the report will be mailed to the City of Normal Police Department.
